Hey readers! My name is Hailey, and I have the opportunity to not only represent my home town Coaldale, but all of southern Alberta. I am honoured to be taking over the blog of Miss Aly Mahovlic.

For starters I am 17 years old and am in my senior year at Kate Andrews High school. Attending Kate Andrews I have the honour of being one of the presidents of my school, along my side is Haley Van Rijn. We enjoy

Ha(i)ley Squared Presidents

planning all kinds of events and fundraise for many charities. At my school I love participating in all the sports. I’ve

Every year I was setter

played volley ball and softball all through high school, and played basketball in grade 9 and 12. Being athletic and fit is one of my passions. Before playing high school sports I was in gymnastics at West Winds in Lethbridge. I was in it for 6 years, and then switched to competitive TnT(Trampoline and Tumbling) for 3 years.

It was in grade 8 when I finally had to chose between school

Last year at finals we won 2nd place

sports and TnT, and school sports was the winner.

After High school I plan on attending LA hair design to pursue my passion in hairstyling, makeup, and nails. In 2011 I competed in world skills intermediate hair styling and won gold. I plan on

Me winning Gold at Skills!

participating in this event again on April 19th and hope to do as well as I did last year.

I follow a quote in life “live everyday as it might be your last.”In 2009 I woke up one September morning not knowing my life would dramatically change. This was the first significant tragedy in my life;

Daddy's girl <3

losing my dad due to alcohol. Before I go to bed each night I tell my mom “I love you, good night.” After my dads passing it made me realize you don’t know what tomorrow might bring. So tell your loved ones you love them as much as you can, and try something new as often as you can because you might not get that chance the next day.

Like mother like daughter

For those of you reading and who don’t know me very well I hope this next paragraph fixes that. The basics being my favourites.

I love fashion and keep up with the latest trends. I’m not afraid to mix and match my clothing and look a little weird. Not going to lie I am a kind of a cry baby. Well I can just be very emotional, and shed some tears over probably anything, movies and the fact that I’m graduatingare two main ones at the moment. I’m very artistic

My acrylic nails and designs

When it comes to nail designs, I love being athletic but then its also nice to just lay on the couch with all the junk food I can find and watch my favorite shows. I’m a big fan of the outdoors, nature and all the activities that go along with it but only when its above 18 and I can wear summer dresses. My friends mean everything to me and they’re giving me something a person always needs in there life. MEMORIES.

My best friends

This introductory post has been sponsored by a reliable Toronto roof repair company.

That about wraps it up, and I want to thank everyone for your love and support, it means so much. As busy as I am I’m going to do my best to keep you all up to date with this blog.

xoxo Hailey
