I flew into Toronto with two other Ablerta girls and we immediately met three other delegates from Saskatchewan. After cramming all of our belongings into a small bus we eventually made our way to the hotel, where we got settled in after meeting our roommates. Michelle did an amazing job of choosing our roommates as @missteenhaltonregion.com (my roommate) and I get along very well and have already have had many good laughs together after spending only 2 nights together!
The Miss Teenage Canada pageant started off with a very fun spent with all of the delegates to celebrate, meet and thank our sponsors. The night was so fun! We were able to mingle with one another and really get to know the fellow delegates while also getting to know more about the amazing companies that sponsored the pageant this year.
The first sponsor table I visited was the #nuvango table. They are each of us a free clothing item (they are all super cool)! Today we were given the opportunity to go for a tour of the Nuvango factory, and it was so neat! We got to do a small photoshop with their latest collection, along with seeing all of the hard work that goes into the products they make!
V.P.I sunglasses gave us all a pair of sunglasses here is a picture of my fellow albertan and I sporting them! They are so cute and sporty. Throughout the week I have seen lots of girls looking very stylish in their V.P.I sunglasses.
Then we all were given a free piece of clothing from Nuvango! So cool! All of there clothing is so cool!
Nuvango created a shareable moment center by offering up some designer clothes and a full length mirror. I got a really cool pair of leggings! They are like nothing I have ever seen before, they are so unique. Later in the week we made a visit to Nuvango headquarters where we were given a tour and a mini photoshoot!
We also had a great time golfing at Ryall Golf course! The instructors at the course were so helpful and taught us so much about golf and gave us some really good tips.! We were served a yummy lunch and were given super cool uv protection sleeves. I had so much fun working on my drive and putting stance. All in all a great experience, I strongly recommend going to thin course because it is so beautiful and a great place to be.
Sam Dhutia from Sweets Canada was at the party doing chocolate tastings. Sam made a very informative and delicious chocolate tasting exhibit – after each sampling he generously gave out gourmet chocolate bars , and or edible flower chocolate bars, depending on each delegate’s individual preferences, as discovered during the tastings. I was given white chocolate covered cashews and a dark chocolate matcha chocolate bar. They were literally so yummy. My roommate and I both shared our chocolates with each other because she had white chocolate cheese cake balls. SO GOOOOOOD!
Archers Arena logo At the party there was a bow and arrow (with a giant marshmallow on the pointy end) and we all took turns trying to hit a paper target that was setup in the ballroom. We got to go to Archers Arena to play with the arrows and to play against each other. It was so fun! We got to shoot arrows at each other and after learning how to actually shoot a bow and arrow. I am so glad I am learning so many new things when I am here!
Storia PR is a huge help with spreading our thanks to the sponsors and helping to amplify the audience that sees all of the things the sponsors do for us!
So nice to get to meet up with all of the girls from my province. It has been almost 6 months since seeing them last, so it was nice to get to see familiar faces and bond even more with these girls. This has been amazing experience so far and I can’t wait for the actual competition. Thank you to the sponsors for allowing us to have such a great week! Without them all of the great activities we get to do wouldn’t be possible!
